We would like to welcome the newest member of our Guitar House staff, Randy Genet!
While new to Guitar House of Tulsa, Randy is certainly not new to the Tulsa music community. He began his professional career as a sax player in 1962. In 1972 after successful stints with two of the regions finest horn bands " The Soul Section " and " Pot Luck and Beggin, " he decided to hang up his saxes and concentrate on the retail side of the business.
His first taste of retail came in 1968 as a band instrument repairman at Conn Keyboards. In 1970 he took his repair skills to Shields Music where he found his new passion, helping customers find the best instrument or amp to fill their need.
In 1974, he opened his own store, Music Sound World. After a very successful run of 33 years he has now rejoined Bob, from the Shields days, at Guitar House of Tulsa. Randy as always, is eager to share his knowledge and experience with friends and customers, both old and new.
